Every person who comes into this world has a purpose. So we should be grateful for the people around us, do our best, and not disappoint those who treat us sincerely. People who cause trouble for us are actually giving us a chance to practice compassion, true compassion, without bias, along with patience and tolerance.
If life is always smooth, it is easy to become careless or lost. I believe the real source of happiness comes from within our own hearts. If we look for happiness in the outside world, like money or power, it will not work. I have friends who are extremely wealthy, yet still unhappy. So happiness, peace, and contentment all come from within.
First, we need to understand the meaning of Buddha, then raise our own awareness, understand what we want, and know what we should practice. This is how we gain wisdom. It is not about always asking who can teach us. If we keep that mindset, we will continue repeating our own karma. With such thinking, asking anyone for help will not bring real change.
